The this design began as a watercolor painting in which I featured evergreen plants native to the Pacific Northwest. You will see pinecones and boughs of sequoia, Doug fir, cedar and spruce. I also included plants that provide nourishment in the winter such as chestnuts, rose hips, acorns and huckleberries. This design wouldn't be complete without the happy little chickadees.
