Teton Pioneer House Original Painting
Built by Mormon pioneers who settled in the Teton Valley near Jackson Hole Wyoming in the early 1900’s and known as simply “The Pink House” this iconic structure is one of the last remaining homesteads of a bygone era. The home was constructed in anticipation of the birth of the pioneer family’s first child and became pink as a result of a mix-up with the paint. The family decided to keep the color for sentimental reasons, which created a majestic juxtaposition with the Teton mountain range stretching off in the distance. Painted plein-air on location!
This painting is a treasured piece from my private collection. It measures 9×12 inches, can be matted & framed (as shown) or unframed. It is painted on French cold pressed watercolor paper. To preserve the integrity of this original artwork, please store or display it in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
Paintings are packaged in individual eco-clear sleeves with sturdy, acid-free backing boards. I use up-cycled shipping materials when possible to reduce environmental impacts. Your order will arrive in a thoughtfully packaged repurposed mailer. If selecting framed, your painting will arrive in a carefully packed sturdy box.
