Join artist, teacher and visionary, Erin LaCerra for a watercolor skills session. Each month will be a different theme. Recommended for ages 14 and up!
I love watercolor classes with Erin. It’s one of the highlights of my month and I try to go every time. Erin’s presentation is professional, informative and very knowledgeable. She holds a safe space for participants and honors each and every person present. When we are there it is obvious that “you can’t get it wrong” as everyone’s art is acknowledged and delighted over.
- Linda, a returning student.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
In each session we will explore new themes and techniques in watercolor painting. No prior painting experience is needed to have a fun time in this setting. Perhaps you are a writer, looking to spark new ideas, a busy professional desiring protected private time, a parent needing a blissful YOU moment or a therapist interested in learning a new self-discovery tool to bring to your sessions. This may be just the thing to unleash your creative spirit in a profound way. The focus is the process, not the product. It’s about letting go, connecting with your intuition, engaging in art making as a form of play and charting your own path to personal empowerment. All materials will be provided.
WHAT TO BRING: All painting materials will be provided. The cafe will be closed during our private session, so feel free to bring a water bottle or a snack if needed for your comfort.
SEATING: To allow for greater individual focus for each participant, this workshop has limited seats. Once a seat has been reserved, it’s no longer open for another participant. Due to the nature of advanced reserved seating, refunds or future credits are not available for missed workshops. If you are unable to attend, you may choose to transfer your seat to another person.
SLIDING SCALE: Purchasing a seat at the posted ticket price ensures the sustainability of these offerings and supports a community pricing model for those in need. If for any reason the standard rate is cost prohibitive, please use this code at checkout for a 20% discount towards sliding scale support: COMMUNITY20.
PLEASE NOTE: Watercolor Wednesdays will focus on essential painting skills only. For my creative channeling workshop that combines meditation and painting, please see the event for Dream in Watercolor. To learn more about that experience, I invite you to read my essay, Inside Dream in Watercolor: Beyond an Art Class, A Spiritual Journey.
