Pink House Mormon Way, Grand Teton National Park, Jackson Hole Wyoming

from $18.00

Built by Mormon pioneers who settled in the Teton Valley near Jackson Hole Wyoming in the early 1900’s and known as simply “The Pink House” this iconic structure is one of the last remaining homesteads of a bygone era. The home was constructed in anticipation of the birth of the pioneer family’s first child and became pink as a result of a mix-up with the paint. The family decided to keep the color for sentimental reasons, which created a majestic juxtaposition with the Teton mountain range stretching off in the distance. Painted in the expressionist style of plein-air (open air) painting, this whimsical scene will charm any space.

This print is reproduced from an original watercolor painting and printed on high quality archival paper. Several sizes are available.
